My wife tossed together this low fat blackberry crisp recipe a few nights ago. Quick and easy, with an oatmeal crisp topping, it was delicious.

Low Fat Blackberry Crisp With Oatmeal Recipe
Preheat oven to 400-degrees F, and gather the following ingredients.
Ingredients
- Fresh blackberries – 24 ounces
- White Clover Honey – 1 Tablespoon
- Unsalted Butter, softened – 2 teaspoons
- Light brown sugar – 1/2 cup packed
- All Purpose flour – 2 Tbsp
- Ginger – 1 tsp
- Instant Oats – 1 cup
Spread fresh blackberries in a 9-inch x 9-inch glass baking dish. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with 1/2-tsp ginger.
In a separate dish, combine remaining dry ingredients and mix with fork. Add softened butter and continue stirring. Spread mixture over blackberries and bake at 400-degrees F for 30-minutes, or until topping is golden brown.
Serve a 3-inch x 3-inch square warm, with a tall glass of milk.
Nutrition: 133-calories, 5-grams of fiber, 1.8-grams of fat, 2.6-grams of protein

It was delicious! I was actually craving blackberry cobbler, but hate the quick crust. It was late and I didn’t want to be up all night making homemade crust, which is fattening anyway. What Greg failed to mention was that he had TWO big bowls! Yes, I did too. Just a tiny bit of whipped cream on the side made it extra yummy:)
